Use this practice when the center home row keys are comfortable and the outer home row keys need more control. You will mix A, S, D, F, J, K, L, and semicolon in balanced groups, continuing through small errors so you can keep a rhythm. The drill strengthens left-right hand alternation and teaches your fingers to return home after reaching outward. It is a useful bridge to real short words.
